Error DF-BPA-09 'Error Processing Purchase'

Problem: When you are trying to download an app, you will get stuck by this error. These problems don’t go away by itself until you go into the settings.

Solution: This problem is caused due to the Google Play itself, not due to the individual user. So do not get overwhelmed because Google will soon came up with its remedy, till now we are providing a quick guide to get rid of this error.

  • Go to the “Settings”.
  • Click on “Apps or Application manager”.
  • Then swipe to the All columns.
  • Scroll down the cursor until you see “Google Services Framework”.
  • Finally choose “Clear Data” and then click on “OK”.

Alternative Method : In the meanwhile if these steps doesn’t work then you can go to the Google Play site on your PC and install the app that is giving you issues on your smartphone or tablet from there. When you go back to your device, the install should work.

Problem: This error is caused from Google servers themselves.

Solution: Follow these simple steps to overcome this situation.

  • Open the Google Play Store on the web (use a PC, for example)
  • Then choose an application install it on your Android, which should logically send you the infamous error [DF-BPA-30]
  • Get back on your smartphone and try the download, which should now be operational again.

Alternative Method: The other solution for this particular problem is to try to delete the data or clear the cache of "Google Play Services".

Problem:  This error can affect your ongoing downloading process and may fail to do so.

Solution: The first and the foremost thing to do is to clear the cache and data of the Play Store app. To do this,

  • Go to the Settings.
  • Tap Applications and look for the Play Store and you can delete the cache and data. 
  • On some smartphones, you must enter the Storage tab to see this option. 

Alternative Method: If this very solution is not fruitful then you can go to go to your account settings and delete your phone's Google account. Once you've done that you just need to go back in and reinsert it.

Problem: During an installation or updation from a Google Play Store a dialogue box appears on your screen prompting the error message “Error Retrieving Information from Server RH-01”. It is commonly noticed in Custom ROM installed android phones.

Solution: To overcome this situation follows these simple steps.

  • First of all go to “Settings”.
  • Then click on “Apps”.
  • After that swipe to the “All Columns”.
  • Scroll down the cursor until you see “Google Services Framework”.
  • Finally choose “Clear Data” and then click on “OK”.

Alternative Solution: At first remove your Gmail account and then re-add it. After some times re start your device and then re add your account.

: Error rpc:s-5:aec-0

Problem: The Android user mainly gets encountered with this message when they are trying to download something from the app. The Google Play error [RPC:S-5:AEC-0] is commonly being noticed on on Android 4.0 and higher and commonly appears after an update to Android 4.2, though that’s not the only reason.

Error #7

Name Of The Error: Error BM-GVHD-06

Problem: This is actually a global problem which is noticed when you want to use Google play card.

Solution:

  • First of all try to restart your device and then try again to do so.
  • You will notice that a problem has now gone. But if the problem persists then- go to SettingsApplicationsPlay StoreForce StopUninstall updates. The Play Store will then return to its original version and the problem should be gone.

 


Error #8

Name Of The Error: Google Play – Error rpc:aec:0]

Problem: You will not be able to download the app.

Solution:

  • Remove your Google account.
  • Then Remove all synced accounts.
  • After that Go to Settings > Apps > All > Google Play Store and select Clear data. Restart your device and try again.

 


Error #9

Name Of The Error: Google Play – Error RPC:S3

Problem: User will not be downloading any app.

Solution:

Remove Google account and re-add it, or try an alternate account.

 


Error #10

Name Of The Error: Error authentication required     

Problem: It,s a common problem on Android devices that user are witnessing regularly. : Error authentication required

Solution: Follow these three simple steps to get rid of this issue.

  • Click on the Accounts tab from the settings of your phone. Then remove the Google account from there and add it again. If everything works after this then assume that it is a simple little error that's sometimes displayed after an update.
  • Then Go into your Settings, tap Application manager and click onto the Google Play Store. Delete the data from this menu (you can also clear the cache).
  • Maybe the problem is not really in your authentication, but in the Play Store itself. In this case, you only have to go to application settings (SettingsApplications), search the Play Store and click Uninstall updates. Maybe you need to disable the Play Store to get to this started. That way you get the version of the Play Store that you had when you purchased the phone, you just have to update it and then re-register.

 


Error #11

Name Of The Error: Package File Invalid

Problem: It’s a Google Play store Error that any user can witness while using it.

Solution: Go to the Settings > Then click on Apps > Then All and select the app that's causing the problem, then select Clear cache and Clear data. Try again in Google Play Store.

Alternative Solution: Instead of using Google play store app use Google Play store website  else Go to Settings > Apps > All > Google Play Store and select Clear cache and Clear data. Do the same for Google Services Framework.

 


Error #12

Name Of The Error: Error 8

Problem: It occurs when your downloads unfortunately stops when you are trying to do so.

Solution: Make sure you have Google Play Services installed. If the problem persists, go to the application list and enter Google Play Services and disable the application. It will then ask if you want to restore the factory settings, you will just have to confirm.

 


Error #13

Problem: This error has been witnessed since late 2015. Which mainly occur when you want to install those apps that you were already had in the past.

Solution: This issue can be resolved by disconnecting and reconnecting the SD or micro SD memory card. If you have not succeeded then better to visit Google’s Online Support.

 


Error #14

Name Of The Error: Error 20

Problem: It is related with the TCP connection, which has been forcibly closed for some reason. This error is caused either by a compatibility issue that ultimately results in the connection being forcibly closed which makes it only look like a network layer problem or a network layer problem such as a connection interruption or a proxy/firewall.

Solution: To resolve this error, you must be rooted since you need to access a file named 'smd2tmp1' found in / mnt / secure / asec /. If your mobile is rooted, you can delete this folder this should permanently resolve the problem.

Alternative Solution: If you don't want to root your device, there is another solution. Delete the file / data / data of the application that caused you problems. Use file explorer to access the folder.

 


Error #15

Name Of The Error: Error -24

Error -24Problem: it’s an unknown error which appeared during the installation of apps. It occurs mostly with the rooted user and it's just like a common thing with the Google play store app having unknown errors.

Solution: A root manager is needed to solve this problem. If you have the one then navigate to Data/data. In that folder, locate the package name of the app causing trouble (this can be found by looking at the URL of the app on the Play Store website). Delete the entire folder. Try reinstalling the app.

 


Error #16

Name Of The Error: Error 101

Problem: when downloading, updating or installation fails due to data crash, then this error are categorized as Error 101.

Solution: The first and the foremost method is to delete all the data and cache regarding the Google play store.

Go to the Settings > Then click on Apps > Then All and select the app that's causing the problem, then select Clear cache and Clear data. After that Go to “Google Play Store” and Select “Clear Data & Clear Cache” to remove all the data regarding Google Play Store.

Alternative Solution: You can delete and Re add your Google Play store account.

  • Go to “Settings” -> “Accounts” -> “Google” -> Select Your Account”
  • Go to Menu” and Select “Remove Account”, and then Add Your Account”.
  • Now “Restart” your mobile device and try to perform update or download.

 


Error #17

Name Of The Error: Error 103

Problem: I mainly arise due to network issues instead of storage or cache problem. Whenever an user try to download anything a error message displays stating that “App could not be downloaded due to an error. (103)

Solution:

  • First of all restart your network connection and your Android phones.
  • After that clear cache and data of Google paly store , Google service framework and download manager. Go to the Settings > Then click on Apps > Then All. After that Go to “Google Play Store” and Select “Clear Data & Clear Cache”.

 


Error #18

Name Of The Error: Error 110

Problem: The application did not get installed on the Android.

Solution: Move to Settings > Then Applications > After that All > Google Play Store > Clear cache. 

Alternative Solution: If the problem persists, try downloading the app from the Play Store website.

 


Error #19

Name Of The Error: Error 194

Problem: “Name of the App” cannot be downloaded due to the Error 194, mainly seen when you are updating some application from the Google Play Store.

Solution:

  • Go to Settings > Apps or Application Manager.
  • Scroll across to All and then down to the Google Play Store app.
  • Open the app details and tap the Force stop button.
  • Next tap on the Clear data button.

 


Error #20

Name Of The Error: Error 403   

Problem: Error 403 can deny your request, means your request was forbidden.  error403

Solution: Log in to Google play store with your verified Google account. Then uninstall the application in question. Then try to rebuy the Google play again and then click on the purchase button.

Alternative Solution: Try creating a new Google account and using it instead for the Play Store. Go to the Google Play, and select the menu button again. Then select Accounts and choose the New Gmail account. Then reinstall the app.

 


Error #21

Name Of The Error: Error 406

Problem: This error generally occurs if you have reset the Google account that you were using initially to register on your phone, if you’ve restored your device to its factory settings, or if you’ve registered a new account on your phone. Sometimes this error also occurs while downloading the app over WiFi.

Solution: Clear Cache and Data

  • Go to Setting >> Go to Application Setting (In some devices application setting is named as apps).
  • Go to, All the apps > >Find the Google Play Store >> Clear Cache and Data
  • Once you have clear everything, Next you need to Force Stop the application. Similarly, Find the Google Play Service >> Clear Data and Cache
  • Also, Find Google Services Framework>> Open Google Services Framework >> Clear cache and data.
  • Now, Restart your device and try to download the app.

 


Error #22

Name Of The Error: Error 413

Problem: Internet connection is the major concern for this error. When you use proxy it may cause problem with the Google Play store. Sometimes it may occur only while downloading a file of more than certain size limit,e.g. 20 MB, while for some of the smartphones, it may be occurring for any type or size of files.

Solution:

  • Go to Menu > Settings > Applications > All > Google Play Store.
  • Clear the cache and delete the data.
  • Repeat the operation for “Google Services Framework”, “Google Apps”, “Google Talk” and clear the cache of your browser.
  • Restart your phone, and check whether the problem is fixed now.
  • If these manipulations have not solved the problem. You should have your internet connectionstable, hence check it once and make sure it’s stable.
  • Go to “Settings > Mobile Networks > APN.
  • Delete the Proxy field and tap on Save.

 


Error #23

Name Of The Error: Error 481

Problem: This error is related to the SD card of your Android. It may arose either you have a corrupted SD card or it may not exist.

Solution:

  • At First Go to phone settings.
  • Then Select 'Apps'.
  • After that Go to the list with all apps.
  • Then Select 'Google Play Store' or 'Android Market'.
  • Press 'Force Stop' and 'Clear data'.
  • Open the Play Store and Try to download the app again.

Alternative Solution: Remove your account from Play store and then log in with your alternate account.

 


Error #24

Name Of The Error: Error 491

Problem: It is the problem in which you will be unable to download the game or a app.

Solution:

  • First of all you have to remove your goggle account and for this firstly move to the settings of your account, after that Accounts and then Google.
  • After that reboot your android and then add the account once again.
  • In the next step, go to the Settings, Then Apps and swipe to All. Scroll down to Google Services, then click Clear data and finally Force stop.

 


Error #25

Name Of The Error: Error 492

Problem: Problem faced while downloading or updating apps from Google Play store. Its became impossible to install an application because of the Dalvik cache.

Solution:

  • At first delete your Google play store. Move to Settings >> Apps>> All >> Google Play Store >> Clear data. Delete data from Google Services Framework as well (note: this will assign a new Google ID to your device, as if you had factory reset it, meaning your Google apps may temporarily act up afterward).
  • After that reboot your android and then add the account once again.

 


Error #26

Name Of The Error: Error 497

Error 497Problem: The problem arose in updating the installed apps.

Solution: First of all clear your play store. To do this Go to Settings > Applications > All > Google Play Store and hit Clear cache, Clear data and Uninstall updates.

Alternative Solution: Delete the App,s APK and reinstall it, If your phone is rooted. To do so, open up Root Explorer, or a similar application, and navigate to System / app >> Mount R / W >> Delete application. Or you can play it safe and rename the offending APK to something like GoogleSearch.apk.backup, so you can revert it if anything goes wrong.

 


Error #27

Name Of The Error: Error 498

Problem: Interruption faced during the download from Google Play Store. It is faced when you try downloading some games or apps from Google Play Store. There are times when a message flashes on your screen stating “Error 498 has occurred while communicating with the server”.

Solution: The main reason behind this problem is cache of your device is full. So delete some unwanted applications and files. Restart your smartphone in recovery mode by pressing the volume down, power and home buttons (for Samsung devices), or volume down and power (for most other devices). This mode provides a few more options. Select Wipe cache partition by navigating between options with the volume rocker. Confirm using the power button.

 


Error #28

Name Of The Error: Error 501

Problem: By having this error on their Android phone an user will not be able to download, update or install any application. This problem is caused most of the time if you have multiple apps installations going on in the Play Store.

Solution:

  • To get rid of this issue, first of all you have to go to the Settings.
  • Then open Google play services and Play store application.
  • After that tap on clear cache.
  • Once you have done this, go into Accounts and delete your Google Account. 
  • Then restart your phone, input and synchronize your Google account again, then let your phone sit for five minutes without touching it. 
  • After these five minutes are over, the 501 error should not bother you anymore.

 


Error #29

Name Of The Error: Error 504

Problem: In this error your apps could not be downloaded due to an error.

Solution: First of all go to Settings >> then Apps >> select All >> then Google Play Store and Clear cache and Clear data. Also Clear cache and Clear data for Google Services Framework.

Alternate Solution: Try removing your Gmail account and then read your account.

 


Error #30

Name Of The Error: Error 505

Problem: This is an unusual error code which is encountered during the updation or installation of the application from Google Play store. It shows up an error message stating “Unknown error code during Application installs 505”. Following reasons are responsible for this error.

  • It is mostly seen when you try to install an outdated version of the app.
  • Error 505 can be caused due to the incompatibility of the app with your Android OS version.
  • It can also arise due to cache conflict or data crash of the app.
  • Error 505 may also arise due to Google Account Sync Problem.

Solution:

  • At first restart your Android device, because this step usually works in getting rid off of any type of error. If it didn’t work and then try these simple steps.
  • Clear Cache and Data of Google Play Store, Google Service Framework and Download Manager. To do this First of all go to Settings >> then Apps >> select All >> then Google Play Store and Clear cache and Clear data. Also Clear cache and Clear data for Google Services Framework.

Alternative Solution: Reconfigure your Google account or factory reset your Android device.

 


Error #31

Name Of The Error: Error 905

Problem: Problem in downloading or updating new apps correctly. : Error 905

Solution:

  • Go to the Settings>> Then Applications>> All.
  • In the Application page of the Google Play Store, select Uninstall updates.
  • Wait a few moments until the un-installation is done.
  • Reinstall, restart the Google Play Store. The error should have gone probably.

 


Error #32

Name Of The Error: Error 906

Problem: This problem is noticed in HTC M8 and M9 mainly during the downloading or updation of an app.

Solution: In this situation you must clear cache and data of the Play Store app. If it is not fruitful then uninstall the updates. If it still does not work, turn off your SD card by going to Settings> Memory / Storage). Return to the Play Store and try to install the app. If the problem persists, you probably have your app on an external card to transfer it to the internal memory. Then you can send it to the SD card once the application is installed.

Note: This problem is identical to Error 906.

 


Error #34

Name Of The Error: Error 911

Problem: You will not be able to download the app.

Solution:

  • Firstly Go to Settings>> Then Apps, after that swipe to All and scroll down to Google Services. Here, select Clear data.
  • If you're on Wi-Fi connection requiring a web page login, ensure you are still logged in.

Alternative Solution: Switch from the Wi-Fi  to the mobile network data.

 


Error #35

Name Of The Error: Error 919

Problem: Downloading process continues but it doesn’t get opened once downloaded.

Solution: The main reason is there is simply no more space is left on your Android. So try clearing all those unwanted stuffs like songs, game, videos and many more.

 


Error #36

Name Of The Error: Error 920

Problem: You will not be able to download the app.

Solution:

  • First of all turn off your Wi-Fi connection and then On again. Then try to download or update the app in question.
  • Then Delete your Google account, restart your device and add your account back again in the app Settings. 

Alternative Method: Follow these simple steps

  • Go to Settings > Apps > All > Google Play Store and select both Clear data and Clear cache.
  • And finally Uninstall updates. Restart your device, open Google Play Store and try to download the app again.

 


Error #37

Name Of The Error: Error 921

Problem: It is a common code that pops up when you are trying to update or install apps from the Google Store.

Solution:

  • First of all try to delete the cache of the Google Play Store application.

  • If this doesn’t work, delete all the Play Store application data, but keep in mind that this will consequently delete all the settings that you’ve already made.

  • As a last resort, remove your Google account, restart the device and enter it again.

 


Error #38

Name Of The Error: Error 923


Error 923

Problem: When your downloading apps gets affected by data crash, it comes under this Error code.

Solution: First remove your Google account and after that all those unnecessary stuffs that are consuming large space. Next, reboot your device in recovery mode. Select Wipe cache partition and start your device as usual. Don’t worry; your personal data won’t be deleted. Set up your Google account once again.

Name Of The Error: Error 924

Problem: It generally occurs when user tries to download larger application. The downloads unfortunately completes, but the error message is displayed, saying the installation was unsuccessful do to an error.

Solution: Head to Settings > All > Google Play Store > Uninstall updates. Once you've done this, try downloading the problem app again.

 


Error #40

Name Of The Error: Error 927

Problem: Downloading of the ongoing application will get disturbed because an updation is going on.

Solution:

  • At first Go to Settings  > All > and then Select Google Play Store.
  • Now simply stop the Google play store application by selecting the Force Stop option. Also Clear Data and Cache Files by selecting the clear option listed below.
  • After performing the above steps carefully again try to download or to update your applications from Google play store.
  • If the above method is not working than you should also try to uninstall the google playstore updated version by going to the application settings > All > Google Play Store > uninstall updates. 

Alternative Solution: Try to Re-add your Google account and then check your memory space.

 


Error #41

Name Of The Error: Error 940

Problem: Application didn’t get download because of this error.

Solution: If restarting of your device doesn’t work then try these steps to fix the error.

  • Head to Settings >> Applications >> All >> Google Play Store >> Clear cache.
  • Go to Settings >> Application >> All >> Downloads / Download manager >> Clear data.
  • Do the same for 'Google Services Framework', 'Google Apps', 'Google Hangouts', and ‘Checking Service'.

 


Error #42

Name Of The Error: Error 941

Problem: Updation of an app fails due to the error code 941.

Solution: To fix this issue move to Settings >> Apps >> All >> Google Play Store and tap on Clear cache and Clear data. In the same place, scroll down to Download Manager and press Clear cache and Clear data for that too. Try the update again.

 


Error #43

Name Of The Error: Error 944

Problem: When the Google Play App store is down or may exist some sort of server error then the user can witness this problem. In this error you will not be able download or update any application.

Solution: It appears to be temporary problem from the Google’s end, so waiting is the only solution. Try to update the apps later.

Name Of The Error: Error 961

Problem: A user face problem while installing Android Apps from play store.  Error 961

Solution: The first and the foremost thing is to get a refund from the play store within a time period of 15 minutes. Next, go into the Settings of your device and choose Applications and swipe left until you see All apps. Now scroll down to Google Play and choose it. Here, select Clear cache. If the problem persists, choose Clear data as well.

Name Of The Error: Error 963

Problem: This error code is mainly noticed on HTC M8 and M9 during downloading or updating the apps from Google Play store.

Solution:

  • First of all navigate to Settings>> then Applications >> All > Google Play Store > Clear cache. Go back to the previous screen and to the previous screen then select Downloads / Download Manager > Clear data.
  • Disable your SD memory card. Go to Settings > Storage > Unmounts SD card > OK. Head back to the Play Store and try downloading or updating the app again. If it works, head back to Settings > Storage > Mount SD card.
