Step 1: Press the Windows key + R.
Step 2: Type msconfig and click OK to open the system configuration.
Step 3: Choose the Selective Startup from the General tab menu.
Step 4: Make sure that the option Load startup items is unchecked.
Step 5: Now go to the Services Tab and checkmark the box with “Hide all Microsoft services”.
Step 6: Click on Disable all which will disable all other remaining services.
Step 7: Restart your PC and check if the script host error messages during startup appears or not.
Step 1: Open the Registry editor by entering regedit from the Run command Windows.
Step 2: Now, explore the following key from the registry editor.
Step 3: Click on the default from hand side window as shown.
Step 4: Change the value data to VBSFile and then click ok.
Step 5: Restart your PC and your problem will be solved from getting the script host messages during startup.
Step 1: Press the Windows key + R to open the Run command.
Step 2: Type regedit and click ok to open the registry editor.
Step 3: Explore the following key as shown
Step 4: Delete the entries with VMapplet and Win StationsDisabled from the right side window.
Step 5: Now, double click the Userinit file just above the VMapplet.
Step 6: Remove the entry “C:\windows\system32\servieca.vbs” or “C:\windows\run.vbs” and make sure that the default value is currently set to “C:\Windows\system32\userinit.exe,” as shown below.
Step 7: Click ok to save the settings and Restart your PC to see the changes.
If you are still not able to sort out the Script host error problem, then you should try the Repair install method at last. This will surely fix your problem as well as repair your corrupt system files. Repair install simply uses an in place upgrade which repairs the system files without deleting the user data on the PC.
